Why do we worry when our Creator and Provider has instructed us not to worry (Matthew 6:25)? As a parent if you keep telling your child not to do something and he continues to do so, you would label him; "disobedient, disrespectful or rebellious". Why then do we continue to be disobedient to God who has freely given us all things (Romans 8: 32b)? Is it because we cannot see Him? Then we need to look at the evidence of His faithfulness: food to eat, clothes to wear, a roof over our heads, air to breathe, etc., etc.
Do not worry. Use your energy to give God thanks in advance, and after the fact, for His bountiful blessings. Your needs are being met even when it seems impossible. Bless God by being a blessing to one of His children who needs a helping hand.
You can only be true to yourself when you allow your Creator to bless you with His gifts.
