Living by the Breath of Jesus
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Genesis 2: 7(NIV)
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
John 20: 21-22(NIV)
God gave us life by breathing into the dust he shaped into the form of a man. Jesus gave us power to breathe life into others by giving the Holy Spirit to the Disciples when He breathed on them on the evening of His resurrection.
Do you feel overwhelmed by the situations in your life? Are you drowning in the fear that it is all hopeless? The breathe of Jesus still breathes life into dead situations.
Do you feel that your life is missing something? Jesus can fill that void. He reveals to us our strengths and ushers us to a place of transformation where our spirits mount up and soar as eagles.
Have you ever been criticised for not thinking like everybody else? Do you have your own way of looking at life? Have you ever been misunderstood for thinking or doing something differently? The Creator created each of us with a unique combination of personality traits, gifts and talents. We are each the only person that is given this combination and therefore each of us is a unique person. The world loves it when we are all in the same box. It is easier for them to understand and to respond to us. But God did not intend for us to be clones of each other. He created variety. He created each of us to be different.
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you are in the right place. This space gives you permission to be yourself. The Holy Spirit, the breath of Jesus, lives and guides us in this space.
Use the tools on this site to assist you in being your true self (the person God created you to be). You are only truly alive when you are walking on the path He created you to, with the breath of Jesus living within you.
God's Promise For The Week
Jeremiah 33:3 (New International Version)
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Your Life For Christ
You were meant to have peace in your heart. You can only achieve this by giving your heart to God. If you have not done so before, I invite you to do so now by saying the following prayer:
God, I have been living my life my way, depending on my own strength. Forgive me for all I have done that was not of you. I believe that Jesus is Your son and that He died to save my soul. I will be obedient to Your will from this day onwards. Amen.
If you have given your heart to God for the first time; complete the following form so I can pray for you and support you in your decision.
